Snyder part number 5760102N51 is a 360 gallon double wall tank in black high density linear polyethylene. The inner tank sits inside an outer containment shell, so a leak from the inner wall stays in the tank instead of on the floor. It is 53 inches in diameter, 63 inches tall and weighs 250 lb empty, with an 18 inch threaded vented manway on top. The wall is rated for liquids up to 1.9 specific gravity with a service limit of 120 F (48 C). 360 gallons of water weighs 3,002 lb; at the full 1.9 rating the contents can weigh 5,705 lb. Where it goes
A 360 gallon contained tank is a day tank or a feed tank: dosing chemical at a well house or a treatment skid, a reserve beside a process line, liquid fertilizer or a treatment chemical kept outdoors where sunlight would otherwise reach it. The 1.9 rating takes liquids nearly twice the weight of water. The 120 F limit means it is for liquids stored at ambient temperature, not held hot; if your liquid runs warmer, call us before you order.
Sixty three inches tall puts the manway within reach from a step, so you fill, dip and look inside without building a platform. The 53 inch body needs a double door or an overhead door to get indoors, so measure the route first. Under it, give the tank a flat, continuous pad that can carry about 5,705 lb at the full rating; a crack or a crown under one edge loads the wall unevenly.
Usable volume in a contained tank is less than the nameplate once you leave room for freeboard and expansion. Openings, and what to confirm before you buy
- Manway. An 18 inch threaded vented manway on top. It fills, vents and gives you a look inside; keep the vent clear while you pump in or draw down.
- Outlet. No outlet or fitting is listed on this product. Give us the pipe size and the valve or pump you plan to use and we will confirm with Snyder what comes on this part number.
- The liquid. Check it in our chemical compatibility guide and tell us the concentration, so the gaskets and valve suit it as well as the wall.
- The space between the walls. No leak detection is listed with the tank. Plan how you will check the space between the walls and keep a dated log. Snyder's drawing is linked under Technical Drawing on this page.

The tank ships LTL at freight class 250 from Snyder's Marked Tree, Arkansas plant, 53 by 53 by 63 inches on a pallet at 250 lb. At the tailgate, match the bill of lading to 5760102N51, walk around the outer wall for gouges or cracks and check the manway threads; note any damage on the delivery receipt before you sign. Set it on the finished pad, fill it with water first and check the manway seal and the base, then drain it before it goes into service.
