A 22 inch square footprint fits on a bench, in a bay, beside a machine or in the gap where a drum used to stand, and the 39 inch rim sits a little above waist height, which is comfortable for a vessel you look into and work over. That is the job: dissolving a make-up batch, rinsing parts, holding a day's worth of a solution, catching a process drain, anything you fill in the morning and want empty and clean by night. The drain at the bottom, and what to check before you buy

1. Outlet size. No outlet size is listed for this tank. The drain fitting is the whole point of a total drain vessel, so tell us the valve or hose size you want on it and we will confirm what Snyder supplies with the system. 2. Solids. If the liquid carries solids, read the outlet sizing guide for high solids against low solids service before choosing the drain.
3. Clearance underneath. A tank that drains from its low point needs room under it for the valve and a container, or a stand; measure that before you set it on the floor.
4. Open top. No lid is installed. It does not seal or vent; keep it indoors or covered if debris or rain is a concern, and leave freeboard below the rim when you mix.
5. Rating. 1.5 specific gravity and 120 F.
