1,500-gallon white water storage tank built for safe potable water storage. Manufactured by Bushman from virgin linear polyethylene (HDPE) rated to handle liquids up to 8.3 pounds per gallon. FDA approved for contact with potable water, ensuring safe storage for drinking water and food-grade liquids.
The 1500 Gallon Water Storage Tank Natural is designed for commercial operations, agricultural producers, and industrial facilities with serious storage demands. With 1,500 gallons of storage capacity, this tank serves as the backbone of serious safe potable water storage operations. It handles the volume demands of commercial and agricultural applications where running out of supply is not an option.
Constructed from virgin linear polyethylene (HDPE) using a single-piece rotational molding process that eliminates seams, weld lines, and potential leak points. Rated for liquids at 1.0 specific gravity (8.3 pounds per gallon), this tank is optimized for water storage with wall thickness calibrated for standard water weight. Translucent white walls allow visual level monitoring without opening the tank and reflect sunlight to keep contents cooler. Maximum operating temperature is 120° F / 48° C, with UV stabilizers compounded directly into the resin for outdoor service life.
This tank measures 88 inches long by 88 inches wide and 75 inches tall, requiring 53.8 square feet of level ground. Empty weight is 275 pounds. At full capacity with a 1.0 SG liquid, expect approximately 12,785 pounds on the foundation. Requires an engineered reinforced concrete foundation designed by a structural professional for the full loaded weight. Install on a level, compacted surface. Ensure adequate clearance above for lid access and around the perimeter for plumbing connections and visual inspection.
Comes equipped with a 2" NPT outlet fitting installed at the factory. No inlet fitting is included — drill and install a bulkhead fitting at your preferred height for your specific plumbing layout. The 16" lid opening provides ample access for interior inspection, cleaning, and installation of float switches, level sensors, or submersible pumps. Use schedule 80 PVC or stainless steel bulkhead fittings on the 2" NPT connections. Install a full-port ball valve and consider a Y-strainer to protect downstream equipment.
