The Enduraplas 1900 Gallon Green Horizontal Sump Bottom Leg Tank is a Neche, North Dakota-built polyethylene horizontal leg tank engineered for transport and field-haul duty, with a 1.9 specific-gravity rating that lets it carry dense agricultural and industrial liquids most water-rated tanks cannot. The molded leg-and-sump body measures 130 in L x 71 in W x 79 in H, sitting on a 71-by-130-inch footprint in a sump-bottom configuration. If you have been searching for an Enduraplas horizontal tank, a horizontal leg tank, or a sump-bottom haul tank, this is the 1,900-gallon configuration.

Will it work for your liquid and your trailer?

Capacity is 1,900 gallons in green polyethylene, with overall dimensions of 130 in L x 71 in W x 79 in H. The full-water weight is 15,846 pounds; at the 1.9 specific-gravity rating the same volume can carry up to 30,107 pounds of contents. That roughly 14,260-pound spread between water and a dense 1.9-SG product is the whole point of this tank, and it is exactly the figure that prevents the "sized for water, hauled fertilizer" axle mistake. Size your trailer, axles, and tie-downs against the heaviest product you intend to haul, not against water. To match this tank to your load and run, use the Tank Sizing Calculator and the Tank Sizing Guide. Factory fitting and outlet configuration is not published for this SKU, so confirm sump outlet size, vent, and lid before ordering by calling 866-418-1777.

Chemical compatibility

This tank is molded in polyethylene with a 1.9 specific-gravity rating, which covers most dense chemistries by weight. The resin is recorded as HDLPE but not yet confirmed; verify HDLPE versus XLPE (crosslinked) construction before committing this tank to chemical service, because the resin determines true chemical resistance. The list below comes from the OEM chemical-resistance chart and is concentration- and temperature-specific, so confirm your exact concentration and operating temperature against that chart. The decision that matters is the gasket: most chemistries run on EPDM, the aggressive acids and oxidizers require Viton, and peracetic acid needs Aflas.

EPDM gaskets (most products): Acetic Acid 60% (PP/PVC), Aluminum Sulfate 50% (PVC), Calcium Chloride 40% (PVC), DEF 32.5% (316SS), Ethylene Glycol 100% (PVC), Ferric Chloride 50% (PVC), Ferric Sulfate 60% (PVC), Ferrous Sulfate 20% (PVC), Magnesium Chloride 30% (PVC), Polyaluminum Chloride (PVC), Potassium Carbonate 50% (PVC), Potassium Hydroxide saturated (PVC), Propylene Glycol (PP/316SS), Sodium Bisulfate (PVC/PP), Sodium Bisulfite (PVC/PP), Sodium Carbonate 30% (PVC), Sodium Thiosulfate 40% (PVC), Urea Solution 50% (PP/PVC), Zinc Orthophosphate (PP/316SS), and Ozonated Water up to 10 PPM (PVC).

Viton gaskets (strong acids and oxidizers): Hydrochloric Acid 37% (PVC), Hydrofluoric Acid 48% (PP/PVC), Hydrofluosilicic Acid 26% (PP/PVC), Hydrogen Peroxide 50% (PVC), Phosphoric Acid 85% (PVC), Sodium Hypochlorite under 16.5% (PVC), and Sulfuric Acid 98% (CPVC). Aflas gasket: Peracetic Acid 30% (316SS).

The mistake to avoid

The costliest error on a haul tank like this is matching the fitting and gasket to the tank instead of to the chemical. The polyethylene body tolerates a wide range of products, but the outlet hardware does not: sulfuric acid at 98% wants CPVC with Viton, DEF wants 316 stainless, and the strong acids and oxidizers above call for Viton rather than EPDM. Because factory fitting data is not published for this SKU, spec the sump outlet, vent, and gasket to your specific chemistry and concentration, and confirm HDLPE versus XLPE before any chemical fill. For dense fertilizer blends, review our guides on fertilizer-blend tank stratification, applicator and leg tanks for fertilizer, and portable utility tanks and DOT classification. See the technical drawing on this page for the molded layout.
