A 65 inch circle does not fit between the wheel wells of a pickup; it sits on top of them or on a flatbed, so plan a frame or blocking that supports the flat floor across its full width rather than letting the tank bridge the wells, and measure the bed at the rails and with the tailgate closed before you order. At 39 inches tall it stays below most rack heights. A full tank of water is more than a ton and three quarters, which is past the payload of most half ton pickups before the pump and the driver, so this is a three quarter ton, one ton or flatbed load; read the sticker on the door jamb. Strap over the body to the bed anchors, never over the lid, and face the outlet toward the tailgate. What goes in it

Water for dust control, stock, a remote site, a garden or rain collection is the usual load. White shows the level through the wall but lets light in, so water that sits for weeks in the sun will grow algae; for stored water, drain and refill rather than top up. Liquid fertilizer and the common farm chemicals that polyethylene handles are inside the 1.5 rating; liquids heavier than that need a heavy duty tank, and anything unusual should be checked against the material before the first fill. Openings and fittings

1. Outlet. A 2 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting, factory installed low in the wall. A 2 inch ball valve or a camlock adapter threads straight into it, and 2 inch hose drains the tank at a useful rate for gravity or a pump. Support the valve and the first length of hose so the fitting carries liquid, not hardware.
2. Lid. An 8 inch threaded vented lid on top: wide enough to fill from a hose or a hydrant nozzle and to drop a float or a suction line through. The vent lets air in as the pump draws down, so keep it clear.
