Where it goes
This is the size for a spot sprayer on an ATV or UTV, a small water supply on a work trailer, or a mix tank beside a bench. At 29 by 20 inches it fits most rear racks and the corner of any pickup bed; at 23 inches tall it clears a tonneau on many trucks, so measure before you order. Full of water the contents alone weigh close to 290 lb, which is more than most ATV racks are rated for, so check the rack rating and keep the tank as far forward as the rack allows. Strap it through the leg recesses with the optional bands, never over the lid. What goes in it
Water, liquid fertilizer, herbicide mixes and the common farm and treatment chemicals that polyethylene handles are the normal loads. Openings and fittings
- Outlet. A 3/4 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting, factory installed. A garden hose adapter, a small ball valve or a battery pump suction threads straight into it. Support the valve and the first length of hose so the fitting carries liquid, not hardware.
- Inlet. None is fitted. Fill through the lid.
- Lid. A 5 inch threaded vented lid on top: big enough to fill from a hose and to pour from a jug, and the vent lets the tank breathe as it empties so the pump does not pull the wall in.
