- Know your liquid. Standard tanks are rated to 1.5 specific gravity (12.52 lbs per gallon). Heavy duty tanks, most in light blue, are rated to 1.9 (15.87 lbs per gallon).
- Above or below ground. Septic and underground tanks are not for above-ground use, and above-ground tanks are not made to be buried.
- Not for fuel. Don't use any of these tanks for gasoline, diesel or any other fuel.
Questions we get
Which Norwesco tank is for drinking water?
Start with the vertical water tanks. They're black or green, which blocks the light that helps algae grow.
Do cone bottom tanks need a stand?
Yes. Each one is sold with a poly stand or needs a steel stand, sold separately.
Where does my tank ship from?
From the Norwesco location nearest you that makes that tank. Each tank page quotes freight to your ZIP.
Call 866-418-1777 for help choosing a Norwesco tank, or get freight to your ZIP on any tank page.
