Where it goes

2. Lid. A 16 inch lid on top: wide enough to fill from a hose, drop a pump or a float in, and get a hand and a brush inside to clean.
3. Installing a valve. Support the valve and the first length of pipe within a foot or so of the tank so the wall carries liquid, not hardware, and dry-fit before tightening.
