Where it goes

Between vessels already standing, at the end of a curb, or in a bay where a wide, low tank would block the aisle. At 90 inches the manway is well above head height and the vent and fill line above it need ceiling room, so measure the purlin and the sprinkler head before the tank is standing, not after. Openings and fittings

1. Manway. An 18 inch threaded vented manway at 90 inches: a fixed platform with a rail, a permanent fill connection at the rim, and a dip tube to the floor so the stream does not free-fall and foam.
2. Outlet. Tell us the liquid and the draw-off you want when you order and we will confirm what this tank accepts at the base and in what material before anything is drilled. A column this tall puts real static pressure on a base fitting, so the first valve sits on its own support with a flexible connector to hard pipe, and a transfer pump below the take-off runs flooded.
