The C34 is the lighter wall at 160 pounds; the 8120000N45 carries 30 more pounds than this tank. Fittings, instruments and containment
- Outlet: 2 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting at the bottom of the sidewall, factory installed; a PVC or CPVC adapter, a flexible transition, and a valve supported off the floor.
- Access: 10 inch lid; the tank is filled by hose or tote pump, not poured, which is the right way to fill a chemical tank anyway.
- Service limit: 120 F / 48 C.

Fill through a dip tube to the floor so caustic or acid does not splash the lid, route the vent outside on anything that fumes, and mount the dosing pump below the outlet so it primes by gravity. Turnover and changeover
Eleven hundred gallons is four totes or a partial tanker, on a schedule set by the feed rate; the tank sizing guide covers the reserve to carry between deliveries. Size the schedule so the tank turns over before the chemical degrades; hypochlorite in particular is bought in smaller lots more often. When the tank changes product, the low shape earns its keep: the floor is a hand's reach through the lid, and a wash-down wand cleans the interior without anyone leaning over an opening. Drain through the outlet, rinse, drain again, and let it dry before the new fill.
