Outlet, manway, vent

• Outlet: 2 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting, at the base; a flanged transition, a flexible connector to hard pipe, and the valve supported off the pad in the material the chemical calls for.
• Access: 18 inch threaded, vented manway, 90 inches up, reached from a step; fill from a truck or a tote through a dip tube, vent outside on anything that fumes, and size the vent for the delivery pump.
• Service limit: 120 F / 48 C.

Seven and a half feet of liquid above the outlet keeps a pump's suction flooded to the last inches; mount the pump below the outlet so it primes by gravity, and put a low-level float on it. The sender is the gauge on a black wall. Keep the manway closed against vapor loss, label the one chemical the tank holds, and where it freezes, wrap or trace the outlet valve and the first pipe run; the body takes ice from the top down without harm.
