Four gradings come out of this 142 by 198 inch mold at 12,500 gallons, listed separately, each rated as its own sheet says, and the reason to stop on this page is that it is the natural white tank at the lighter rating. That combination does two things: it keeps 3,100 pounds rather than the heavier wall's poundage on the crane and the freight bill, and it lets an operator see the level and the condition of the liquid from the ground. The 5350000N42 is the heavy duty white tank in the same shell at 4,200 pounds and it is the one to specify when the liquid is denser than the figure here. The C34 and C37-BLACK gradings are the black walls, which is what a light sensitive liquid needs and what gives up the visible level. Everything enters and leaves through the top of a sixteen foot shell

• Access height first: the 18 inch threaded, vented manway sits at the top of a 198 inch shell. Design permanent access to it, because temporary access to a manway sixteen and a half feet up is how people get hurt. A caged fixed ladder or a platform off adjacent steel, a rail and a self closing gate, a fall arrest anchor that is not the tank, and a hard piped fill connection landed at the manway.
• Outlet as listed: the sheet lists the outlet as 30 and dimensions no bottom fitting, in any material or thread, anywhere on it. The field is printed as it stands, with nothing inferred. Tell us the liquid and the draw-off you need at order and we confirm what this molding accepts before a hole is made in it.
• Fill and vent: a dip tube to the floor so the stream does not free fall the height of the shell and foam the headspace, the vent run outdoors on anything that fumes, and the vent sized to the delivery pump rather than to the closest port.
• Hardware as listed: ladder lugs and one flange line. No inlet appears on this sheet.
• Service limit: 140 F / 60 C. Warranty: 3 year. Rating: specific gravity 1.5 as the sheet gives it.

Where the sheet dimensions only the top opening, the cleanest install often keeps the shell undrilled: a suction line or a submersible dropped through the manway leaves the wall intact, moves every serviceable item to where a person can reach it, and takes the bottom fitting out of the list of things that can weep onto a pad. If the process wants a bottom draw, that is specified at order rather than cut in the field, because a hole made in a rotationally molded wall by somebody standing on the slab is the quickest way to turn a 3 year warranty into a discussion. Either way the first valve rides on its own support off the pad, a flexible connector keeps hard pipe from loading the shell, and a pump set below the draw off runs on a gravity prime with a low level float to stop it before it draws air. The mid size bulk tank most plants actually need

At the 1.5 rating, 12,500 gallons covers process and rinse water, effluent and washdown holding, a fertilizer solution, a treatment chemical near the weight of water, and any seasonal duty where the constraint is the delivery interval rather than the chemistry.
