A tote's worth of chemical, outdoors

Outlet, manway, and reading the level

• Outlet: 2 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting, at the base; a flexible connector to hard pipe, the valve supported off the pad, and the reducer to the pump's suction at the pump.
• Access: 18 inch threaded, vented manway, 64 inches up, opened from the ground; fill from a tote through a dip tube, and vent outside on anything that fumes.
• Service limit: 120 F / 48 C.

A black wall hides the level, so a sender read at ground level or a sight tube off the outlet goes in with the tank, and a low-level float shuts the pump off before it draws air. Mount the pump below the outlet so it primes by gravity, keep the manway closed against vapor loss and rain, and label the tank for whoever comes to the site next.
