Where this tank earns its keep

This is the general purpose warm duty tank of the range: a dosing tank at a small water or wastewater plant, a cleaning or caustic solution at a food or beverage plant, a feed solution at a nursery, a bath makeup tank on a finishing line, or an outdoor pad in a hot valley where the liquid never cools at night. Walk the site with two numbers: 36 inches of floor and 64 inches of height. The full weight bears on that 36 inch circle, so pour the pad level and in full contact to the concrete pad sizing guide, with containment sized to the tank where the liquid is regulated; on a black shell the berm is also where a slow weep shows first. Openings and what to confirm before you buy

1. Manway. An 18 inch threaded vented manway on top, 64 inches up. It takes a fill line, a vent, a level probe and a cleaning wand with room to spare. Reach it from a tied-off platform ladder leaning on structure, not on the tank.
2. Outlet. The manway is the only opening listed for this tank. Tell us the liquid, its working temperature and the draw-off you want when you order and we will confirm what can be fitted and in what material.
3. Vent and fill. Size the vent to the delivery pump and pipe it outdoors on anything that fumes. Run a dip tube to the floor so the stream does not free-fall and foam.

The tank ships LTL at freight class 300 from Snyder's plant in Merced, CA, 36 by 36 by 64 inches and 70 lb on the pallet. A West Coast dock gets a short lane; anywhere east of the mountains should price it rather than guess, so put your ZIP into the freight cost estimator before you order. Two people or a pallet jack take it off, straps under the body and never through the manway. Check the part number against 1008100N48 on the bill of lading and look over the base and the manway threads before the driver leaves. Fill it with cold water first, hold it, walk the base and the pad edge twice, then drain it before anything warm arrives.
