What an open top tank does
An open top gives you the whole tank to work in. It catches drips and overflow under equipment, holds a liquid you dip parts or baskets into, takes a mixer or a pump suction straight from above, and lets you see and reach the surface without opening anything. At 47 inches tall the rim sits about chest height on most adults: high enough that nobody walks into it, low enough to look over and reach in. The 1.9 rating means brines, coagulants and other dense liquids are fine. Plan for what an open vessel brings: rain adds volume outdoors, dust and debris fall in, and anything volatile escapes, so a liquid that needs to be closed in belongs in a closed tank. What to check before you buy

- Outlets. No outlet or fitting is stated for this tank. If you need a drain or a side connection, tell us the size and position and we confirm with Snyder before it ships.
