Where it goes
The 68 by 38 inch footprint and 41 inch height suit a side mount on a tractor frame or a top mount on a sprayer or planter toolbar. Full of water the contents alone weigh close to 2500 lb, and more with fertilizer, so the frame, the mounting brackets and the machine's own ballast limits decide whether it belongs there, not the tank. What goes in it
Liquid fertilizer, water and the crop protection products that polyethylene handles are the normal loads. Openings and fittings
- Outlet. A 1-1/4 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting, factory installed. Your valve, pump suction or hose adapter threads straight into it. Support the valve and the first length of hose so the fitting carries liquid, not hardware; on a machine that vibrates, that support matters more than it does on a stationary tank.
- Lid. An 8 inch threaded vented lid on top. It is big enough to fill from a hose or a transfer pump and to see inside; it is not a manway you can get an arm through, so plan to rinse the tank through the lid and drain it through the outlet.
