They are a co-op or a custom applicator whose load is aggressive enough that the wall matters more than the 24 pounds, a plant that carries a process chemical between buildings on a yard trailer, a contractor who has already split a thinner tank on a rough haul, a service operation that wants one tank to survive being loaded, drained and reloaded for years rather than seasons. Cross-linked polyethylene is the wall you buy when the contents or the handling are hard on a tank, and on a vehicle both usually are. Once that decision is made the installation is the same discipline as any leg tank and it is worth spelling out, because a good wall on a bad mounting still fails at the legs. The tank bears along the full length of its legs on a flat, continuous surface: a solid deck, a plywood-topped skid, a poured pad. No gap under the middle, no leg over an edge, no bolt through a leg, nothing wedged under one end to level it. Pumping off an outlet the sheet lists as 1.25

• The pump path: the outlet field on this sheet reads 1.25 with no inch mark, where its siblings in the same family are listed as 1.25 inches; we print the field as given and will confirm the fitting on your part before it ships. Wherever it lands, the layout is the same: pump below the outlet, hose falling toward it, short run, first bend away from the fitting, so the standing liquid keeps the pump flooded through the load.
• Prime on a long body: 72 inches of shell and 43 inches of height means the surface drops quickly at the end of a draw, so use a self priming pump or a foot valve, and fit a run-dry stop rather than relying on someone watching the lid.
• Gravity and low-point draining: the outlet is the low point, so draining is done by parking the deck with a fall toward that end and opening a full-flow shutoff at the fitting. Keep a second valve downstream for hose changes.
