Where it goes

Height is the thing this tank does not ask you for. At 46 inches it goes under a mezzanine, under a pipe rack, on a flat roof deck beside condenser units, inside a box truck, on a trailer that has to clear a bridge, and on a bermed pad where a tall shell would stand above the berm wall and catch wind. What it asks for is concrete. The base is 64 inches across, the widest in this group, and full of water the tank puts 4,587 lb on that circle, more at the full rating; pour the slab to our concrete pad sizing guide, level and in full contact, because a wide tank on a pad with one low corner puts its weight into that corner. Measure the doorway and the gate on the way in, and band it to structure while it is empty. Cooling tower and boiler chemistry on a roof deck, makeup or reclaim water under a mezzanine in a wash facility, mixing and transfer on a service trailer or skid, dark holding in a bermed outdoor compound, nursery feed solution under a bench. Openings and fittings

1. Manway. An 18 inch threaded vented manway at 46 inches. On a shell this shallow the opening reaches most of the floor, so cleaning with a wand, dropping a probe and inspecting with a light are all done from the pad.
2. Outlet. Tell us the liquid and the draw-off you want when you order and we will confirm what this tank accepts at the base and in what material before anything is cut. A wide, shallow tank has little standing head, so mount a transfer pump below the outlet elevation where gravity keeps it primed, with a low-level float so it stops before it draws air.
