Where it goes

A 48 inch circle is narrow enough for a doorway-limited room, a pump house, the corner of a barn or the back wall of a treatment building, and 550 gallons is a useful working volume for a day tank, a fertilizer or brine batch, or a small water reserve. The heavy duty rating means the same tank can move from water to a denser liquid later without a new purchase. 1. Fittings. No outlet fitting is listed for this part. Tell us the outlet size and where it should sit, and we will confirm what Snyder fits before you order.
2. Manway. An 18 inch threaded vented manway on top for filling, a float or level sensor, and inspection.
3. The pad. Up to 8,715 lb at the rating rests on a 48 inch circle. It needs a level, smooth, continuous surface under the whole base; our concrete pad sizing guide covers the slab. A tall, narrow tank outdoors should be tied down against wind while it is empty.
