Floor instead of height

Every site trades floor for height one way or the other; this tank is for the one with floor. Outlet and manway on a low tank

• Outlet: 2 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting, at the base; a flexible connector to hard pipe, the valve supported off the pad, and the reducer to the pump's suction at the pump.
• Access: 18 inch threaded, vented manway, 46 inches up, opened from the ground; fill from a tote or a truck through a dip tube, and vent outside on anything that fumes.

The liquid column above the outlet is under four feet, so the pump sits as low as the outlet and primes by gravity; a low-level float shuts it off before it draws air. A tank this low can be reached into from the rim for a rinse at a chemical change, which the tall one cannot offer. Keep the manway closed against vapor loss, and label the one chemical the tank holds. Where it freezes, wrap or drain the outlet valve and the first pipe run; the body takes ice from the top down without harm.
