This tank fits the outdoor job that needs a modest supply kept dark: the fertilizer tank feeding a drip injector in an orchard row or a market garden, a water reserve beside a pump on a small ranch, a rinse tank at an equipment wash-down, or a supply for a mister line. High density polyethylene suits water, most liquid fertilizers and many common chemicals, and the 1.9 rating lets it hold dense brines and concentrates that would overload a lighter tank. Watch the heat. The 120 F service limit applies to the liquid, and a black tank in a Central Valley summer runs hot, so give it shade or set it on the north side of a building. 1. Fittings. The outlet and lid on 1007200N51 are not listed on this page. Tell us the outlet size and height you want and we will confirm what comes on the tank.
2. Level. You will not see the liquid through a black wall. Plan a sight tube, a float gauge or a marked dip stick.
3. Footing. Up to about 1,109 lb on a 23 inch circle needs a flat, level, solid base with no rocks under the floor. Strap it to a post or a frame; at 30 lb empty the wind can move it.
