Why a squat 1000 gallon tank

At 65 inches this tank is shorter than most people, so you can reach the manway from the ground or a step, it fits under a shed roof or inside a pump house, and it is steadier in wind than a tall, narrow tank of the same volume. The cost is floor space: it needs a full 72 inch circle of level, solid support. The heavy duty, 1.9 rated wall handles dense liquids as well as water, so the same tank works as a well water reserve, a wash water or rinse tank, a fertilizer or brine tank, or a chemical feed tank at a treatment site. Openings and fittings

Outlet. A 2 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting. A valve or hose adapter threads straight in; support the valve and the first length of pipe so the wall carries liquid, not hardware.
