Buy this shape when height is the limit and floor is not: under a lean-to or a low shed roof, beside a single storey building where a tall tank would stand above the eave, inside a barn bay with a low door, or on an exposed site where a tall column would catch the wind. Filling, reading the level, dropping a float in and cleaning can all be done from the ground or a single step. The trade is the pad.
