Acetic acid (60%), hydrofluoric acid (48%), hydrofluosilicic acid (26%), and urea solution (50%) run on PP/PVC fittings, with HF and hydrofluosilicic acid stepping up to Viton gaskets. For more aggressive service, several fluids call for Viton on PVC, including hydrochloric acid (37%), hydrogen peroxide (50%), phosphoric acid (85%), and sodium hypochlorite (<16.5%), while sulfuric acid (98%) requires CPVC fittings with Viton. Peracetic acid (30%) needs 316SS fittings and Aflas gaskets. The mistake to avoid
