1,000-gallon white flat bottom utility tank built for agricultural chemical and fertilizer storage. Manufactured by Norwesco from virgin linear polyethylene (HDPE) rated to handle liquids up to 12.5 pounds per gallon. FDA approved for contact with potable water, ensuring safe storage for drinking water and food-grade liquids.

The 1000 Gallon Flat Bottom Utility Tank is designed for farms, ranches, small businesses, and residential properties needing reliable mid-range liquid storage. The 1,000-gallon capacity hits the sweet spot for agricultural chemical and fertilizer storage — large enough to be genuinely useful, compact enough to install without heavy equipment or specialized foundations.

Constructed from virgin linear polyethylene (HDPE) using a single-piece rotational molding process that eliminates seams, weld lines, and potential leak points. Rated to 1.5 specific gravity, this tank handles liquids up to 12.5 pounds per gallon — covering the full range of agricultural chemicals, liquid fertilizers, and most industrial solutions. The wall thickness is engineered specifically for this density range. Translucent white walls allow visual level monitoring without opening the tank and reflect sunlight to keep contents cooler. Maximum operating temperature is 120 F / 48 C, with UV stabilizers compounded directly into the resin for outdoor service life.

This tank measures 134 inches long by 90 inches wide and 21 inches tall, requiring 83.8 square feet of level ground. Empty weight is 250 pounds. At full capacity with a 1.5 SG liquid, expect approximately 12,760 pounds on the foundation. Requires an engineered reinforced concrete foundation designed by a structural professional for the full loaded weight. Place on a firm, level surface free of rocks or sharp objects that could damage the tank bottom. Ensure adequate ventilation if stored chemicals produce vapors.

This tank ships without pre-installed fittings, giving you full flexibility to position inlet and outlet connections exactly where your plumbing layout requires. Use polyethylene-compatible bulkhead fittings for all penetrations. The 8" lid accommodates fill lines, vent connections, and basic interior access for inspection. Use schedule 80 PVC or stainless steel bulkhead fittings on the NPT connections. Install a full-port ball valve and consider a Y-strainer to protect downstream equipment.
