The Norwesco 10000 Gallon 15 Degree HDPE Vertical Cone Bottom Tank (MPN N-44461) is a rotomolded vertical liquid storage tank rated for atmospheric (non-pressurized) holding of water, dilute chemistries, and process liquids.

Design

  • One-piece rotomolded construction eliminates seam-failure and joint-leak paths
  • Built to ASTM D1998 standards for atmospheric polyolefin storage vessels
  • Self-supporting design — no internal or external bracing required for atmospheric service
  • UV-stabilized resin rated for outdoor installation without coating
  • Standard top-manway access for filling, inspection, and gauge installation

Installation

Set on a level concrete pad or compacted base ring sized for the tank footprint plus a 6-inch perimeter clearance. A filled tank at 10000 gallons exerts approximately 83,400 lb of point load at water-service SG. Anchor per ASCE 7 Chapter 13 for seismic and wind-exposed installations.

Common applications

  • Industrial day-tank holding upstream of batch process operations
  • Aqueous-chemistry dilution and dosing-feed staging
  • Wastewater equalization buffer at industrial pretreatment installations
  • Process-water reserve for manufacturing, food processing, and beverage operations
  • Agricultural and commercial bulk-liquid staging
  • General industrial atmospheric storage where SG and chemical compatibility match the OEM rating

Compatibility & compliance

Built to ASTM D1998 standards for atmospheric polyolefin storage tanks. Verify chemical compatibility against the OEM compatibility chart for service beyond water and dilute aqueous chemistry. Not rated for pressurized service, petroleum fuels, or aromatic/chlorinated solvents.

Shipping

Ships LTL freight from the nearest manufacturing plant. ZIP-specific freight quotes are available through the freight estimator or by phoning 866-418-1777 with MPN N-44461.
