At 48 by 35 inches the tank sits across a full size pickup bed between the wheel wells with room to spare, and at 18 inches tall it stays below the bed rail, so the tonneau or the tailgate closes over it. That low profile is the reason to buy a flat bottom utility tank instead of a leg tank of the same volume: the weight rides low, nothing sticks up to catch a branch, and one person can lift it in empty at 56 lb. What goes in it

Water for livestock, a garden or a remote site, spray mix for a small sprayer, and the common farm chemicals that polyethylene handles are the normal loads. Check anything other than water in our chemical compatibility guide before the first fill, and ask us if the liquid is not on the list. Liquids heavier than 1.5 times water are outside this tank's rating. Openings and fittings

1. Outlet. A 1 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting, factory installed. A 1 inch valve, hose barb or garden hose adapter threads straight into it. Support the valve and the first length of hose so the fitting carries liquid, not hardware.
2. Lid. A 5 inch hinged lid on top. It is a fill and inspection opening, wide enough for a hose or a small pump pickup; it is not a manway you can reach into.
