This tank is rated to 1.5 specific gravity in a polyethylene resin listed as HDLPE. Because that resin code carries a "?", confirm HDLPE versus XLPE before committing to any chemical service. The resin is FDA-approved, which matters if you rotate the tank into potable or food-grade rinse duty. Against the Snyder Industries OEM chemical-resistance chart — which is concentration- and temperature-specific — this 1.5 SG tank suits chemicals such as Acetic Acid (60%), Aluminum Sulfate (50%), Calcium Chloride (40%), DEF (32.5%), Ferrous Sulfate (20%), Magnesium Chloride (30%), Sodium Carbonate (30%), Urea Solution (50%), and Ozonated Water (up to 10 PPM). Fittings and gaskets are chemical-specific: most run PVC or PP/PVC with EPDM gaskets, but DEF (32.5%) specifically requires 316SS fittings — do not substitute PVC. Because compatibility is temperature-dependent, keep contents at or below the 120 F / 48 C max; hot fills or exothermic reactions can degrade the wall. Match the SG rating and the fitting/gasket to your specific fluid, hold temperature under the 120 F max, and confirm the resin before storing anything but water or fertilizer blends.
