The Norwesco 2000 gallon black heavy duty vertical storage tank, part number 44127B, is a rotomolded polyethylene tank 90 inches in diameter and 84 inches tall, weighing 340 lb empty. Where it goes and what it holds
This is the heavy duty tank for a site with a low roof: a fertilizer day tank in a sprayer shed, a chemical feed tank in a treatment building, a brine or wash water tank under a canopy. At 84 inches, seven feet even, the manway opens from a step and the whole tank clears most shed headers. Openings and fittings
- Outlet. A 2 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting, factory installed low in the wall. Your valve, camlock or pump suction threads straight in. Support the valve and the first length of pipe within a foot of the wall so the fitting carries liquid, not hardware.
- Manway. A 16 inch threaded vented manway on top: fill from a hose, drop a float or a level sensor in, and get a hand and a brush inside to clean. Leave the vent clear so air can move as the level changes.
- Extra ports. Only the one outlet comes installed. A recirculation return, a second draw or an overflow means extra bulkhead fittings; tell us when you order and we quote them with the tank.
