The Norwesco 2000 gallon light blue heavy duty vertical storage tank, part number 44127, is a rotomolded polyethylene tank 90 inches in diameter and 84 inches tall, weighing 340 lb empty. Where it goes and what it holds
Buy this shape when height is the constraint: under a lean-to, inside a shed with a low header, beneath a mezzanine, or anywhere a taller 2000 gallon tank would put the manway out of reach. At 84 inches, seven feet even, most people can open the manway from a step. Openings and fittings
- Outlet. A 2 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting with a siphon tube, factory installed. Your valve, camlock or pump suction threads straight in. Support the valve and the first length of pipe within a foot of the wall so the fitting carries liquid, not hardware.
- Manway. A 16 inch threaded vented manway on top: fill from a hose, drop a float or a level sensor in, and get a hand and a brush inside to clean.
- Extra ports. Only the one outlet comes installed. A recirculation return, a second draw or an overflow means extra bulkhead fittings; tell us when you order and we add them to the same order.
