A broad tank for a room with limited headroom

This tank holds 200 gallons on a 40 inch base and keeps its height to 57 inches, so the top stays below eye level. You can look in, fill and clean it from the floor, and it fits under a mezzanine, a low roof or a pipe rack where a taller tank would not. The wide base keeps the weight low, which makes it steadier when full and easier to restrain than a slim tank of the same volume. Plan for the floor space it takes: the full 40 inch circle plus room to walk around it.

The natural white wall lets light through, so you can read the liquid level from outside in normal light. That is handy indoors, where a tank gets checked often.
