The Snyder 32613 is a 300 gallon vertical water tank in mocha brown high density linear polyethylene, 36 inches across and 72 inches tall, weighing 57 pounds. Mocha is for the tank that stands beside a house or a painted outbuilding where black would draw the eye; it blocks light just as well, so the water stays clear. Thirty-six inches goes through a standard door, and the fittings are full size for the volume: a 1-1/2 inch inlet, a 2 inch outlet and a 20 inch vented manway. Rated for a specific gravity of 1.0, water and liquids no heavier than water.

Setting a tall, light tank
At 57 pounds the 32613 is a one-person carry, and at 2,502 pounds full it is a tank that must be strapped to a wall or a post, because a 36 inch base under 72 inches of water has a high center of gravity. Outlet and manway
- Inlet: 1-1/2 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting.
- Outlet: 2 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting at the base.
- Access: 20 inch threaded, vented manway.

A 20 inch manway on a 36 inch tank reaches every part of the floor for cleaning, and a 2 inch outlet feeds a small pump without starving it. Mocha is as opaque as black, so tee a sight tube off the outlet to see the level. A dark tank warms its water in full sun, so draw from the outlet at the base where it stays coolest and shade the tank where the site allows. Clean it once a year through the 20 inch manway with a wash-down wand, drain through the outlet, and let it dry before refilling; a screen on the inlet and the vent keeps leaves and insects out between cleanings.
