Who buys the 1.9 wall

A 1.9 rating means the wall is built to hold a liquid nearly twice the weight of water at full height. That is the tank for brines, salt solutions, liquid fertilizers such as heavy nitrogen blends, and the treatment chemicals that polyethylene handles. For plain water it is more wall than you need; the lighter rated black version of this shell, which we also list, is the usual water choice. The 102 by 126 inch proportions sit between a squat tank and a tall one: the manway is reachable from a ladder, and the base is wide enough to stand steady. The load is the planning item. Openings, and what to confirm

1. Manway. An 18 inch threaded vented manway on top for filling, venting and inspection. Do not seal it; the tank needs to breathe as the level moves.
2. Outlet. No outlet or fitting is listed with this part number. Send us the pipe size, the valve and the liquid, and we will confirm with Snyder what comes on the tank. Gaskets and valves are chosen against the liquid.
3. Temperature. The limit is 120 F. Ask before storing anything held warm.

The tank ships LTL at freight class 300 from Snyder's Marked Tree, Arkansas plant, listed at 102 by 102 by 126 inches and 973 lb. At 102 inches across it is a full trailer width, so tell us about tight gates or soft ground on the way in. Unload with straps under the base, never by the manway. Set it on the finished pad, fill it with water first, and check the manway and the base before it holds anything else. At the tailgate, check the bill of lading against 8190000N51 and inspect the shell.
