Three flange lines and a bare number where the outlet size should be

• Vent and fill: the 18 inch threaded manway is listed as vented, and on a tank this tall the vent earns its keep twice. A truck pumping into 163 inches of shell needs the air out fast, and a transfer pump drawing a full column down needs it back in just as fast, so size the path to the pumps on both ends and keep a screen on it. Fill through a dip tube to the floor rather than letting the stream fall thirteen feet through the headspace.

What the height gives you at the bottom of the tank is suction head, and it is the best in this volume class: a pump set below the fitting stays flooded far deeper into the draw-down than the same pump on a low, wide tank, and the last inches come out faster. What the height takes is easy access.
