At 104 inches tall, the manway can be reached from a step, the tank fits under most building roofs with room for the vent and the fill line, and the wide base gives it the lowest center of gravity of the black heavy duty tanks near this size. It still gets strapped before the first fill; every polyethylene tank does. The pad is a 120 inch circle carrying up to 68,138 lb when the tank is full at the rating, engineered per our concrete pad sizing guide, level, and in full contact with the tank floor. Black polyethylene keeps light off the contents, so stored water stays clearer and light sensitive chemicals hold their strength. It runs warmer in the sun than white, so shade a heat sensitive liquid, and it hides the level, so a sender goes in with the tank.

Openings and fittings

1. Outlet. A 3 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting at the base. Flexible connector before hard pipe, valve supported off the pad. Tell us the liquid so we confirm the fitting suits it.
2. Manway. An 18 inch threaded vented manway, 104 inches up. Fill through a dip tube and size the vent to the fill pump.
