A 3650 gallon black vertical water tank, 102 inches across, rated to 1.5 specific gravity
Snyder part number 8190000N49 is a 3650 gallon black polyethylene vertical storage tank, 102 inches in diameter and 126 inches tall, weighing 780 lb empty. The wall is rated for liquids up to 1.5 specific gravity, and the service limit is 120 F. On top is an 18 inch threaded vented manway. 3650 gallons of water weighs 30,441 lb, and at the full 1.5 rating the contents weigh about 45,660 lb, so water sits well inside the rating and most liquid fertilizers fit too. Snyder backs it with a 3 year warranty. Black blocks the light that grows algae in stored water.

Where it goes
This is the size for a serious water supply: a rural home on a hauled or well fed system, a livestock operation, a greenhouse, a wash bay, or a site holding water for fire protection. At 126 inches tall it is shorter than the narrow tanks of similar volume, so the manway is reachable from a ladder, and the 102 inch base stands steady. Black matters outdoors. A light wall lets in enough sun to grow algae; this one does not. If the tank will feed fire protection, read the fire water reservoir design guide before you size it. If it collects rain, grey water or condensate, the industrial water reuse storage guide covers how to stage it.
For liquids heavier than 1.5 times water, choose the heavy duty version of this shell, which we also list. Anything other than water should be checked in the chemical compatibility guide first. The base needs a level, continuous pad under the full floor, since a full tank of water alone is over 30,441 lb; the concrete pad sizing guide covers it. Confirm the volume with the tank sizing calculator and the tank sizing guide.
What to check before you buy
- Manway. One 18 inch threaded vented manway on top. It is where you fill, look inside and clean, and it vents the tank, so keep it unobstructed.
- Outlet. No outlet or fitting is listed with this part number. Tell us the pipe size and whether you feed by gravity or a pump, and we will confirm with Snyder what the tank comes with.
- Overflow. If the tank fills from a roof or a well, plan where the overflow goes so a full tank does not spill around the base.
- Drawing. Snyder's drawing for 8190000N49 is linked under Technical Drawing on this page.

Shipping and receiving
The tank ships LTL at freight class 300 from Snyder's Marked Tree, Arkansas plant, listed at 102 by 102 by 126 inches and 780 lb. Tell us if the route to the pad is narrow or soft; a 102 inch tank needs a clear path. Lift it with straps under the base, not by the manway, and restrain it if it will sit empty in open wind. Fill it with water and check the base and manway before you rely on it. At the tailgate, match the bill of lading to 8190000N49 and look over the shell for damage.
