Where it goes
A 1.5 rating takes liquids up to one and a half times the weight of water: water, most liquid fertilizers and many common treatment chemicals. Contained at 5000 gallons, that suits a co-op or farm supply yard, a small water system or a plant that takes tanker deliveries and has to keep a release off the ground without pouring and maintaining a dike. A heavier liquid needs a different tank; call us and we will find one rated for it. The 140 F limit gives room for warm product.
The slim 102 inch body is why the tank stands 216 inches tall. The manway at that height needs a fixed ladder or platform with fall protection, and an indoor site needs the height plus working room. Up to 62,550 lb on a 102 inch circle wants a designed, cured, level slab before the tank is booked. Openings, and what to confirm before you buy
- Manway. One 18 inch threaded vented manway on top: fill point, vent and the way in for inspection. Keep it vented.
- Outlet and fill. No outlet, fill connection or fitting is listed on this product. Give us the truck connection, the draw line size and your valves, and we will confirm with Snyder what this part number carries.
- The liquid. Check it in our chemical compatibility guide and tell us its density; the 1.5 rating is the first thing we check.
- The space between the walls. No leak detection is listed with the tank. Specify it separately and keep a dated log. Snyder's drawing is linked under Technical Drawing on this page.

It travels on its side, and a load this size may be routed to us by phone rather than priced online. Plan the route, the crane and the set position before it ships; lift only as Snyder's handling instructions direct, never by the manway. At the tailgate, check the bill of lading against 5630000N40. Stand it plumb on the cured slab, fill it with water, hold the 41,700 lb load while you check the base and the manway, then drain, dry and look between the walls before the first delivery.
