Snyder part number 5630000N42 is a 5000 gallon double wall tank moulded in natural white crosslinked linear polyethylene. A complete inner tank sits inside an outer containment shell, so a leak from the inner wall stays in the vessel rather than reaching the ground. It is 102 inches in diameter, 216 inches tall and weighs 4,300 lb empty, with an 18 inch threaded vented manway on top. The wall is rated for liquids up to 1.9 specific gravity with a service limit of 140 F (60 C). 5000 gallons of water weighs 41,700 lb; at the full 1.9 rating the contents can weigh 79,230 lb. Where it goes
This is contained bulk storage for dense liquids: treatment chemicals at a water or wastewater plant, process chemicals at an industrial site, any heavy liquid that arrives by tanker and must not reach soil or a drain. The 1.9 rating covers liquids nearly twice the weight of water, and the 140 F limit allows for warm product. If your liquid is close to water in weight, a lighter rated tank costs less; ask us.
The 102 inch body is slim for the volume, which is why it stands 216 inches tall. That height needs a fixed ladder or platform with fall protection at the manway, and an indoor site needs the height plus room to work above. Up to 79,230 lb on a 102 inch circle wants a designed, cured, level slab. Openings, and what to confirm before you buy
- Manway. One 18 inch threaded vented manway on top: fill point, vent and inspection opening. Keep the vent clear at all times.
- Outlet and fill. No outlet, fill connection or fitting is listed on this product. Tell us the truck connection, the draw line size and the valves, and we will confirm with Snyder what this part number carries.
- The liquid. Check it in our chemical compatibility guide and give us the concentration. Gaskets and valves have to suit it, and a weep nearly always starts at a fitting.
- The space between the walls. No leak detection is listed with the tank. Specify it separately and inspect on a written schedule. Snyder's drawing is linked under Technical Drawing on this page.

It travels on its side, and a load this size may be routed to us by phone rather than priced online. Book the crane, clear the route and fix the set position before it ships; lift only as Snyder's handling instructions direct, never by the manway. At the tailgate, check the bill of lading against 5630000N42. Stand it plumb on the cured slab, fill it with water, hold the 41,700 lb load while you check the base and the manway, then drain, dry and inspect between the walls before service.
