Where it goes

This is the everyday black wall of the 7000000 shell: 5,500 gallons under a low roof, for process water, a fertilizer solution, hypochlorite or another everyday chemical at a plant, a co-op or a water system where the liquid or the site wants the dark. Full of water it puts 45,870 lb on a 120 inch circle, and a rotationally moulded floor bears on all of it, so the slab is poured level and in full contact; our concrete pad sizing guide covers the design, and a regulated liquid goes inside a berm. A black tank grows in the sun and shrinks at night, so the cables to structure go on while it is empty and get checked after the first full summer, and the pipe leaves the outlet through a flexible connector. Black runs warmer than white, so shade it if the liquid must stay cool. What to check before you buy

1. The liquid. Up to 1.5 specific gravity and 120 F in this tank. Check it in the chemical compatibility guide; for acid, caustic or a dense coagulant, ask us about the heavy duty wall of the same shell.
2. The outlet. Tell us the liquid and the pipe size you are connecting and we confirm the fitting that goes in the wall. Put the pump below the outlet so gravity primes it, the first valve on its own support, a flexible connector to hard pipe, and a low-level float so the pump never draws air.

At this size it is an oversize load; if the estimator hands you to the phone, call us with the ZIP. Measure the bay door before the truck comes. A crane or a forklift with long forks stands it up with straps under the body, never through the manway. Check the part number 7000000N49 on the bill of lading, look over the shell for transit damage, and fill it with water to the shoulder first, holding it a day while you watch the pad edge and the outlet fitting, before anything else goes in.
