This is the tank for the site that has height and nothing else. Ninety inches across is seven and a half feet of floor, and the shell makes up the difference by standing 221 inches, so the first number to check is the clear height under the lowest steel: a little under eighteen and a half feet of tank, plus a fill line and a vent. Snyder also makes 5500 gallons in a different body under the same name, so check the part number, 7020000N40, when you compare. The 1.5 wall is the right buy for water, reclaimed water, fertilizer solutions and process makeup liquids; a liquid heavier than 1.5 times water needs the heavy duty version of this shell, which we also list. 1. Manway. An 18 inch threaded vented manway on top, reached from a platform at this height. Size the vent to the delivery pump so air leaves as fast as liquid arrives and returns as fast as it is drawn off.
2. Fill. Run a dip tube to the floor. Free fall from the manway foams the headspace and wets the upper wall where vapour concentrates.
