Where the heavier wall earns its money is a brine, a concentrate, a dense acid or caustic: liquids that weigh well over 8.34 lb per gallon and work the shell every day. The 1.5 rated version of this same body does the job for hypochlorite, a feed solution, rinse water and anything else near the weight of water, with less to lift and less to freight; a rating you never reach is wall you paid for. The body is a 120 inch circle where a wider tank will not fit, at the price of 215 inches of height; measure the clear height before the order is cut. A rotationally moulded floor bears on the whole pad and nothing else, so 79,230 lb of water, and up to 1.9 times that with a dense liquid, lands on a 120 inch circle. Pour the slab level, cured and in full contact under the whole floor, berm it where the liquid is regulated, and cast the anchorage in so the bands go on the day the tank is set. Openings, and what to confirm before you buy

1. Vent and fill. The 18 inch threaded vented manway, 215 inches up, is the fill point and the vent. Size the vent to the delivery pump; a vent that cannot keep up pressurises or pulls a vacuum on a shell moulded for atmosphere. 2. Access. A caged fixed ladder or a platform off adjacent structure, a rail and gate at the opening, and a hard-piped fill landed at the manway so nobody climbs with a hose.
3. Outlet. This listing carries no outlet size. Tell us the liquid and the pipe you are tying into when you order and we confirm what Snyder fits to this shell before it ships. The drawing is linked under Technical Drawing on this page.
4. Base plumbing. A dense liquid in a tall tank is the hardest hydraulic duty polyethylene is asked to do. First valve on its own support off the pad, flexible connector to hard pipe, pump below the outlet with a low-level float, nothing rigid bolted to the shell.

The tank ships LTL at freight class 250 from Snyder's plant in Lincoln, NE, at its own 120 by 120 by 215 inch dimensions, an oversize load; the estimator will tell you whether your lane needs a phone call. Set it with straps around the body, never a sling through the manway, onto a cured pad, and band it to structure before the crane is released. Check the part number 7450000N42 against the bill of lading before you sign. Fill with water to the manway, hold it, walk the base and the pad edge twice, then drain before the working liquid arrives.
