A cone bottom tank cannot stand on its own point. The stand cradles the cone at its angle and lifts the outlet high enough for a valve, a hose or a pump inlet, and when the tank is full it carries the whole weight of tank and contents at the feet. - The valve. Fit it before the tank is seated and support the first length of pipe on its own so the fitting carries liquid, not hardware.
- The manway. 16 inches, threaded and vented, reached from a platform or a ladder at this height; plan the fill and the level sender so routine work does not need a climb.
- Anchoring. No anchor hardware comes with the stand; if your site needs it bolted down, that is yours to supply.
