The 1900 Gallon XLPE Vertical Liquid Storage Tank with ASTM Certification (MPN 8300000N42) is an industrial-grade vertical polyethylene chemical tank designed for atmospheric storage of liquids with specific gravity up to the tank rating, in dosing, dilution, and process-feed roles.
Design
- Wall thickness graduated by capacity per OEM engineering — specify SG and chemical service when verifying suitability
- White or natural color minimizes UV degradation of stored chemistry through wall translucency
- Self-supporting vertical-cylinder design — no internal cage, no external bracing in standard atmospheric service
- Compatible fitting and manway configurations vary by OEM — specify chemical and service when ordering
- Rotomolded one-piece construction with no welded seams or bolted joints in the wetted shell
Installation
Set on a level concrete pad or chemical-resistant containment dike sized for the full tank volume per EPA SPCC and applicable state-level secondary-containment rules. A filled tank at 1900 gallons applies approximately 15,846 lb at SG 1.0 (multiply by the actual chemical SG for service load). Anchor per ASCE 7 Chapter 13 for seismic and wind exposures. Install a high-level alarm and overflow-containment arrangement before commissioning bulk-chemical service.
Common applications
- Sodium hypochlorite bulk storage for municipal water-treatment and pool chemical service
- Sulfuric acid dilution and dosing-station feed tank for pH adjustment
- Caustic (sodium hydroxide) bulk storage for pulp-and-paper, metal-finishing, and water-treatment service
- Polymer and coagulant staging at wastewater plants and industrial pretreatment systems
- Agricultural fertilizer (UAN, ammonium thiosulfate, micronutrient) bulk staging at ag-retail and on-farm operations
- Semiconductor and electronics-fab ultra-pure-water (UPW) holding upstream of polish loops
Compatibility & compliance
Polyethylene shell construction meets ASTM D1998 standards for atmospheric polyolefin chemical storage. Specific-gravity rating must match the application chemistry — verify against the OEM chemical-compatibility chart before commissioning service. Not rated for pressurized service, gasoline, kerosene, jet-A, aromatic solvents (toluene, xylene, benzene), or chlorinated solvents.
