Where it goes

What goes in it
Water, liquid fertilizer and the common farm and treatment chemicals that polyethylene handles are the normal loads, kept under 120 F. Liquids heavier than 1.5 times water need the heavy duty tank in this family rather than this one. Openings and fittings
- Outlet. A 2 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting, factory installed low in the side wall. Your valve, camlock or hose adapter threads straight into it. Support the valve and the first length of pipe so the fitting carries liquid, not hardware.
- Manway. A 16 inch threaded vented manway on top: wide enough to drop a submersible pump or a float in, and to get inside with a brush when the tank changes product. The vent lets air in as the tank drains; never plug it.
