The Snyder 1630200N45 is a white high density linear polyethylene vertical storage tank, 42 inches across and 60 inches tall, holding 290 gallons at 80 pounds. Its wall is rated for a specific gravity of 1.9, or 4,595 pounds of contents against 2,419 for water, so it holds concentrated treatment chemicals or dense solutions in a shell that stands under a five foot shelf; the 42 inch base is wide enough that it does not need a strap. The squat 290
Snyder makes 290 gallons two ways: tall on a 36 inch base, or this way, 12 inches shorter on a base 6 inches wider. The squat shape cannot tip, keeps a pump suction flooded to the last few inches, and puts the lid at chest height. Full, it puts 4,595 pounds on a 42 inch circle at the rating; a paver pad or a full-contact slab takes that load, and the concrete pad sizing guide covers a shared slab. Outlet and manway
- Access: 10 inch threaded, vented lid; filled by hose or tote pump.
- Outlet: name the liquid when ordering so the bulkhead fitting matches it; a short flexible section to the pump, and the valve supported on its own bracket.
- Service limit: 120 F / 48 C.
A white 60 inch tank shows its level in daylight; a low-level float switch keeps a pump from running dry. Put the dosing pump below the outlet, where it primes by gravity, route the vent outside on anything that fumes, and keep the lid closed against vapor loss.
