Where a 15 degree cone earns its place
A cone bottom tank is the right answer when what goes in has to come all the way out: liquid fertilizer that settles, a chemical you mix in batches, a process liquid you cannot leave a heel of between loads. The 15 degree cone is the gentlest of Norwesco's three angles, which keeps the overall height down compared with a 30 or 45 degree cone of the same volume while still giving the liquid a slope to follow. Polyethylene handles water, most liquid fertilizers and many common chemicals, and the 1.9 rating covers the heavy ones. - The outlet. A 3 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting at the point of the cone. Your valve threads straight into it. Support the valve and the first length of pipe on their own so the fitting carries liquid, not hardware.
