Seven feet of bin, and the floor it does not take

Seven feet governs both ends of this purchase. The bin travels upright as one pallet position exactly 84 inches tall and clears a standard dock door and very little else, so measure the lowest pipe, light fitting and door frame between the truck and the position before the freight is booked, not while the driver is waiting. Once it is in, the reason to have chosen it is the floor it does not take: 450 gallons on a 45 by 48 inch plan is a lot of product in about fifteen square feet, and in a plant where floor is scarce and the roof is high, going up is the cheaper way to buy capacity. The floor still owes the bin flatness: a continuous, level bearing surface under the whole plan, a slab, a structural deck or a purpose-built frame, with nothing shimmed and nothing bridging a joint. The height from the floor to the discharge decides what fits underneath and is usually the reason people buy a tall bin, so measure the drum, the pail, the mixer inlet or the weigh hopper first and tell us the clearance you need. Openings and fittings

1. Outlet. 2 inch, at the low point of the slope. Your valve or pump suction threads here; support the valve on its own so the bin carries product, not hardware.
2. Lid. A 12 inch lid on top, wide enough to fill from a hose or a pump and to get a brush inside to clean.
3. Liquid and temperature. Polyethylene suits water, most fertilizers and many common chemicals up to 1.9 times the weight of water and 120 F. Check anything aggressive with us before you order.

Shipping and receiving

The bin ships LTL from Snyder's Lincoln, Nebraska plant, 45 by 48 by 84 inches on the pallet at 407 lb, one upright pallet position; it is a forklift delivery at the dock and a forklift job again on the way to its position, and the mast height matters as much as the capacity.
