Openings and fittings
- Outlet. A 3 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting low in the side wall with a 2 inch reducer fitted. Leave the reducer in for a 2 inch ball valve and hose, or pull it for 3 inch pipe to a pump. Support the valve and the first length of pipe so the tank wall carries liquid, not hardware.
- Manway. A 16 inch threaded vented manway on top for the fill line, a float and cleaning access. Never plug the vent.
