Five feet of floor, and a slab that carries the dense load

A 60 inch circle is a small footprint for 1,000 gallons, so this tank goes where the floor is the constraint. The price of the narrow base is height: at 89 inches the manway is platform work, so measure the ceiling and the route in from the dock before the order. The slab is the real engineering on a dense duty tank this narrow. A rotationally moulded floor bears on its whole floor, so 15,846 lb of contents lands on a 60 inch circle, a higher bearing pressure than a wide tank of the same volume puts down. What to check before you buy

1. The liquid. High density linear polyethylene suits water, most liquid fertilizers and many common chemicals; the 1.9 rating adds brines, concentrates and other dense solutions. Anything warmer than 120 F in service, or heavier than 1.9 times water, needs a different tank; ask us.
2. The outlet. This page lists the manway, not a bottom fitting. Tell us the liquid and the draw-off arrangement you want and we will confirm what this tank accepts, in what material and with what gasket, before anything is cut.
3. The manway. 18 inch threaded and vented, 89 inches up. Plan a fixed platform with a rail, or a tied-off platform ladder, with the tank rather than after it, and land a permanent fill connection at the manway.

A tall narrow column of dense liquid puts real static pressure on a base fitting, so whatever is plumbed there sits on its own support off the pad with a flexible connector to hard pipe. A pump mounted below the outlet stays primed; a low level float stops it before it draws air. The tank ships LTL at freight class 300, 60 by 60 by 89 inches, 300 lb, from Snyder's plant at Chowchilla, California, so a West Coast dock is on a short lane and anything east should be priced rather than assumed. The listed price is before freight; the freight cost estimator gives the lane cost to your ZIP. Unload with a forklift and straps under the body, never a sling through the manway, and set it on the finished pad rather than on gravel it will be dragged off later.
