Same shell, lighter wall: the site work does not change

A lighter rating changes the price and nothing about the site, so walk the pad, the ceiling and the doorway exactly as you would for a heavy duty tank. The 60 inch circle sets against a wall or between two vessels already standing; at 89 inches the manway is platform height. A rotationally moulded floor bears on its whole floor, so 12,510 lb of contents lands on the 60 inch circle; pour the slab to our concrete pad sizing guide, level and in full contact. At 260 lb empty a tall shell is easy for a gust to move, so band it to structure or to slab anchors the day it lands. The black wall hides the level, so a sender and a local gauge are part of the install. What to check before you buy

1. The liquid. Polyethylene suits water, most liquid fertilizers and many common chemicals. A rating is a limit, so put the liquid's name on the wall where a driver reads it from the cab. Heavier than 1.5 times water means the heavy duty version of this shell, not this one.
2. The outlet. This page lists the manway, not a bottom fitting. Tell us the liquid and the draw-off you need and we will confirm what this tank takes, in what material, before a hole is made in it.
3. The manway. 18 inch threaded and vented, 89 inches up. Plan a fixed platform with a rail or a tied-off platform ladder, and land a permanent fill line at the manway with a dip tube to the floor so the stream does not free-fall and foam.

Below the shell the rules are the same as on any tall tank: a support off the pad under the first valve, a flexible connector between the tank and hard pipe, a pump below the outlet so gravity primes it, and a low level float that stops it before it pulls air.

A tall, light parcel prices on the deck space it takes rather than the scale, so put your ZIP into the freight cost estimator before the order is cut; the listed price is before freight. Unload with a forklift and straps under the body, never a sling through the manway. Check the part number against 1831000N49 on the bill of lading. Fill it to the manway with water, leave it, and walk the base and the pad edge before the working liquid arrives; that is the cheap way to find a settlement problem.
